Lean Enterprise, and specifically the LEAN tool of 5S is sweeping the globe. Unfortunately, at the same time, POVERTY is also sweeping the globe.

"5S for Charity" marries the global needs for goods with companies, organizations, and families who have excess goods targeted for the scrap bin. Companies, organizations (and even families) have excess goods because they have completed the first "S" of "5S", which is to sort. They are sorting out the stuff no longer used, but often times are still functional and of value to others through charitable organizations. Goods in need include:
